I just received this note from Dan and wanted to share with all of you:

After going to the internet and doing research on what the Dr. told us yesterday, I thought I would send along these comments.

Robin has advanced Ovarian Cancer, possibly Stage 3C. The Dr. de-bulked (removed) the large cancerous mass on the ovary and several other malignant tumors residing in the abdomen. During the surgery, they took several biopsies and removed some enlarged lymph nodes. They will have the results in a week and this will enable the Dr to determine/confirm the Stage of Robin’s cancer.

The treatment strategy to date is Chemo Therapy to commence in two to three weeks to shrink the remaining tumors in the abdomen and vagina for de-bulking in a second surgery.

Robin’s prognosis will be determined when the Dr has more information to work with.

On another note, Robin still has CML, which has an excellent prognosis.

We are praying and trusting the Lord for a complete healing, as we know He is more than able to take this cancer from Robin’s body.
